The Avalon Minor Hockey Association (AMHA) is excited to announce a new initiative for the upcoming 2026-2027 hockey season. Power skating sessions will be offered to help players prepare for the season ahead and develop their skating skills.

The sessions are currently being planned for players in the U9 through U18 age groups. Players will be grouped by skill level as much as practical, with age groups combined where necessary based on registration numbers.

Goalies are welcome to participate as well.

The anticipated start date for the power skating sessions is September 4, 2026.
